The long story about using Factofly as an IT consultant
If you've made it all the way down, it also means that we might be something for you, so let's review exactly how things work when you're a Factofly user.
It's free to create a profile with us, and you only pay for what you use. That price is 6% of your invoice before tax, which means you have about 3% less paid out.
You are responsible for finding your customers and delivering the agreed work. Whether the customer is private or business, Danish or foreign makes no difference.
You will be associated with Factofly in a project employment relationship, and will therefore be sent a contract for signature with MitID. (You receive it through our contract provider Contractbook.)
In order for you to use Factofly, your work must be approved by the customer. before the task is started. This is done by creating a task under your Factofly profile, which is then sent to your customer for approval.
It's a simple email with a task description that your client must respond to the first time you work with them. After that, they simply receive a notification that a new task is being started for subsequent work.
The reason we have to enter into an agreement with your customer is to comply with applicable legislation. In concrete terms, this means that you will be insured during work, and the correct tax will be settled on your income. It hopefully gives both you and your customer extra peace of mind when all the boring details are completely under control.
It also has the side effect that you largely avoid customers who subsequently refuse to pay.
You then carry out the task according to agreement with the customer, and can subsequently invoice them. If we can give your customer a positive credit rating, we can offer immediate payment of your salary. Full transparency: we charge an extra fee of 1,95% for that part. If you follow the normal procedure, we will pay your money within 48 hours after we receive it from your customer. Most often they leave the same day, but we also want to be able to keep what we promise.
Should it happen that your customer does not pay, we will chase the money for you. For a start, your customer gets a friendly reminder after 4 and 11 days. After this, in dialogue with you, we will find out how to deal with the customer.
