    What is an EAN invoice?<\/p>\n<\/div>

    An EAN invoice is an electronic invoice that uses an EAN number (European Article Number), which is a digital invoicing method that can be used between companies in Denmark's NemHandelsregister and public institutions. EAN invoicing is often used by public institutions and larger companies to handle invoices more efficiently and automate accounting processes.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

    CVR vs. EAN - What's the difference?<\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>

    CVR is an abbreviation for "The Central Business Register", and is the state's register and information portal for Danish companies. <\/span><\/p>\n

    All Danish companies must be CVR registered and have a CVR number. However, with a few exceptions for companies with an annual turnover of DKK 50,000 or less.<\/span><\/p>\n

    EAN, on the other hand, is an abbreviation of "European Article Numbering".<\/span><\/p>\n

    An EAN number is used for invoicing to public bodies, e.g. to municipalities, regions or companies established in <\/span>NemHandelsregisteret<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Where CVR invoicing<\/a> primarily takes place via e-mail with an invoice attached as a PDF file or via letter, invoicing to the public sector takes place through e-invoicing via an EAN number. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
