An investment richer, and a big step closer to the vision
In March 2020, a storm raged across borders and a panicked atmosphere spread in the back seat. Employees were sent home in droves, and the streets were suddenly deserted.
But it was also in March 2020 that we had the first version of Factofly, and frankly we were a little unsure whether the timing was now also right, or whether we should wait to press the big green launch button.
In the team we talked about how we should handle the situation, but “if not now, when then”? After shaking off the worst fears, version 1.0 went live and soon after we were able to onboard the first user. And she is actually still there to this day.
In the early days, the system was somewhat handheld, but it was important to get close to our users from the start in order to continuously take in feedback and shape the product.
Over the past 2.5 years, the snowball has slowly rolled thicker and heavier, and today we help more than 2,000 freelancers and self-employed people get paid. Because the vision of making it easier to be a freelancer and choose a career with full freedom has not become more blurred as time has passed. On the contrary.
The last freelance solution you need.
However, our ambition to create the last solution you need as a freelancer requires a bit more ammunition, and we are therefore enormously honored to offer the investment fund Bjergegaard & Co. welcome aboard the Factofly train.
In particular, the Bjergegaard team comes with both networks and strategic competences. It should both help expand our position as the leading freelance solution in Denmark, but also get Factofly beyond the country's borders, so that you as a user can have Factofly in your pocket and live out your nomad dreams by clicking a single button.
With extra capital behind you, you can undeniably do a few more things, and in the coming time even more cool product upgrades will be pushed, but also free tools on the street that make it easier and simpler to be a freelancer.

We firmly believe that the future is freelance. But it shouldn't be a headache to choose freedom over the secure 9-5 solution.
That is why we are also working towards a platform where you can do more than "just" get paid, but one that can follow you as a freelancer from the first meeting with a potential client, all the way until the money needs to be spent. And that regardless of whether you are in Næstved, New York or New Delhi.
