In March 2020, a storm raged across borders and panic spread in the backseat. Employees were sent home in droves and the streets were suddenly deserted.
But it was also in March 2020 that we had the first version of Factofly, and to be honest, we were a little unsure if the timing was right or if we should wait to press the big green launch button.
The team talked about how to handle the situation, but "if not now, when"? Once we shook off the worst fears, version 1.0 went live and soon after we were able to onboard the first user. And she's still there to this day.
In the early days, the system was somewhat handheld, but it was important to get close to our users from the start to continuously take in feedback and shape the product.
Over the past 2.5 years, the snowball has slowly rolled thicker and heavier, and today we help over 2,000 freelancers and solo self-employed people get paid. Because the vision of making it easier to be a freelancer and choose a career with complete freedom hasn't become more blurred as time has passed. Quite the opposite.

Our ambition to create the last solution you need as a freelancer requires more ammunition, and we are therefore extremely honored to welcome the investment fund Bjergegaard & Co. on board the Factofly train.
In particular, the Bjergegaard team brings both network and strategic skills. This will help us expand our position as the leading freelance solution in Denmark, but also take Factofly beyond the country's borders, so you as a user can carry Factofly in your pocket and live out your nomadic dreams at the click of a button.
